Wow! I don’t know how other bloggers do it, but I have some difficulty documenting my events on a regularly basis. I am now sitting at Lanwar 9 in Louisville, KY… 4 days of gaming, gaming, and, yes, gaming. The people running the event were cool enough to give me space to set up a small ‘booth’ so I can demo the product! Thanks again!
QuakeCon 2009 is done. on Aug16 2009
QuakeCon 2009 was great as usual. This was the best one yet per the staff in regards to people attending the BYOC (bring your own computer) gaming area and convention areas. The party Saturday was just nuts with people enjoying food and watching professional video gamers battle it out for the $14,000 prize.
The helmets went over very well with great feedback from the people who tried them. We had a good number of purchases. Many who bought them came back the next day and said the helmets are amazing! Sweet. Any feedback is always appreciated.
Now I am sitting in a box truck for the next 15 hours driving back home. This is the rough part since the bed at the hotel sucked.
I also am very appreciative of the help from my coworkers who came with me. They made this experience fun and informative. There is no way i could have pulled this off so smoothly without them and their insight!! Now lets just see what happens with the stack of business cards that I collected while I was down there!
